Meditations: Fire

Given that everyone can now make very passable images with their handsets, to reach another level it is a matter of nuance: how to trick the machine to show the perceived but otherwise unseen. The rose shows its pink aura or is it an aroma in a heady cloud of perfume. However, it is the overriding smell of fresh tarmac that fills the room. If only handsets could also do smell.

My intention for Mercurius is to make simple 30 second meditations of image and sound. They are spontaneous, unedited spaces to reconsider what’s in front of you in every way. I think of them as ‘dogma’ pieces.

They are for personal enjoyment only.
